Instruction Program
Brandywine offers Eventing and Dressage instruction for amateur adults and junior riders. All instruction includes the “how and why” to produce knowledgeable, thinking riders able to ride in harmony with their horse. Understanding the physics and physiology of riding can improve performance and safety in the exciting sport of Eventing.
•Group Lesson (2-6 riders) Program includes horse care, before & after 1 hour riding instruction (2+ hours total). Students may sign up for 2, 4, or 8 lessons per month.

•Coaching for Competitions (Horse Trials and Combined Tests)
•Schooling Trips and Coaching for Pony Club Ratings
•Interval Training and Endurance Conditioning
•Instruction for horse owners wishing to train their young horses
•Trailer-in and off-site lessons are also available.
Brandywine is home to a great eventing team, from beginners to experienced adult amateurs. Students may participate in everything from lessons and horse care, to learning barn management and breeding. Our goal is to help each and every student achieve the highest level of riding they desire.
Elizabeth Harris, Owner and Instructor
Elizabeth Harris is the founder, owner, and head instructor at Brandywine Equestrian Center.
Elizabeth is a Level 1 USEA, ICP Certified Eventing Instructor, a nationally recognized honor. Elizabeth teaches, coaches and mentors students and oversees care of the horses. Customized instruction, sport horse care and training to fit particular needs, personality & competition goals are specialties of Elizabeth Harris.
